In Chile at the International Viña del Mar Festival, many performers come knowing that the audience is hard to please. This was the case for popular Mexican singer, Anahi. Anahi's performance of "He Lied to Me" did not satisfy many fans or the journalists acting as judges for the festival as Anahi only received thirty votes for her performance. Although, the tacky wedding dress garb and final act of stabbing the singer in the back literally probably did not help in the singer's overall score from the judges. In conclusion, many are saying that the singer's performance was an embarrassment to the festival while Anahi defends that the audience of the festival liked different genres of music then what she had to offer.
